Our client, the owner of a small tourism company, contacted us at the beginning of June to solve the problem of the site being hacked and deleting it after a recommendation from one of the clients.
Because our client did not maintain a backup copy of the site, we contacted the hosting and made a backup of the site. The site was restored and the pages generated by the hackers were cleaned by blocking them from robot text files. We installed additions to protect the site from any hacking in the future.
As a result of our quick response to the client, resolving the problem, and restoring the site, the client asked us to manage the site and improve its appearance in search engines.
Through preliminary analysis, we discovered several problems that prevent the site from achieving good results
- Very poor user experience due to the template used
- The site contains many orphan articles (they do not contain any internal links)
- Many of the headlines are weak and need improvement
- Many pages and articles do not contain a missing meta description.
- There is a severe weakness in the linking between articles and pages
- Soft 404 errors – Error 404 – Error 500 – Redirect 300
- More than 350 malicious external links (Spam link)
- Site pages are slow and do not respond to mobile phones
